The fair likes to claim “‘Stock Showin’ – ‘Cars smokin’ and ‘Horses Lopin'” – all you and your family and friends need to do is show up for some of the greatest entertainment, fun food, kids and family activities, and more!
Featured activities include horseback demonstrations and rodeo events, the kids rodeo, mutton bustin’, bull riding, the demolition derby (a favorite), going to the dogs, the parade, karaoke competition, chili and salsa cook-off, talent show, livestock exhibitions and sales, the kids pedal pull, the petting zoo and more!

Rhythm on the River is a free community based festival that celebrates the environment, while honoring the local community, art, and music. The Longmont festival takes place in Roger’s Grove park in Longmont.
Parking is available nearby at the Boulder County Fairgrounds with a free shuttle.
Activities at the Rhythm on the River fest include the hot air balloon launch, the prairie breakfast, duck races along the St. Vrain, a world market for shopping and gifts, the Art Zone with demonstrations, the outdoor adventure land, the children’s fishing tank, discovery district, the conservation carnival, and the Roger’s River Run 5K . . . and more!

The Tour de Coops is a free and open tour of backyard chicken coops, bee hives, gardens, rabbits, goats and a pig.
