The Jefferson Symphony Orchestra performs a Recital at the Golden First United Methodist Church in Golden Colorado in April.

Join the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra at their Season-Closing concert for an Arabian Night.  Journey into the night’s centerpiece of Scheherazade, a dazzling, colorful orchestration that will transport you to a time of fantasy and legends.  The classic 1962 movie Lawrence of Arabia will have highlights of its soundtrack performed by the symphony as well.   Lastly, Bacchanale from the biblical story Samson and Delilah is the frenzied and exciting conclusion to the night.  Our guest conductor, Alan Yost, will guide the orchestra through music that is enjoyable for all ages.  Tickets are available at www.Jeffsymphony.org or call 303-278-4237.

The Mopar Big Block Party is a huge one night celebration that takes place in beautiful downtown Golden Colorado.  The Big Block Party kicks off the festivities for the annual Mopar Mile High Nationals racing weekend at nearby Bandimere Speedway in late July.

The event celebrates with great live music entertainment, autograph signing by racers, amazing food and refreshments, and car display demos by Mopar.

The Mopar Big Block Party is a summer fun “MUST!”

The Jefferson Symphony Orchestra performs a concert at the Colorado School of Mines Green Center in Golden Colorado in May.

The Jefferson Symphony Orchestra and the Evergreen Chorale combine talents to bring to life the magnificent Brahms Ein deutsches Requiem (a German Requiem).

As one of Brahms most notable works, this beautiful composition seeks to comfort the living and those who must deal with and accept death.

Our guest soloists will be Kara Guggenmos, lyric soprano, and Steven Taylor, bass baritone.

Also on the program is Debussy’s Nocturnes inspired by three impressionist paintings by Whistler.

The Vintage Motorcycles Reborn event show takes place in Golden Colorado in June.

A charity event to benefit Pathways Hospice with over 140 museum quality vintage motorcycles of all makes and models. Admission is free but we ask for a small donation for hospice.

No where else in Colorado can you see a larger collection of vintage machines at one event. There are restaurants and rides for the kids (at the venue).
