The Jefferson Symphony Orchestra performs at the Colorado School of Mines Green Center in Golden Colorado in February.
The 2017 Winner of the Jefferson Symphony International Young Artists Competition, Kamalia Freyling, will perform the technically challenging Clarinet Concerto by Ida Gotkovsky. Kamalia performs this impressive piece with grace and precision. Also on the program is Jean Sibelius’ beautiful Symphony No. 1 in E Minor. The Jefferson Symphony Orchestra will present its season opening concert in October featuring guest artist Marcia Ragonetti, mezzo soprano, singing Songs of a Wayfarer and Gershwin selections.
Also on the program is the popular William Tell Overture, the hauntingly beautiful Die Toteninsel and the lively The Incredible Flutist: Suite.
